MPT Microarray Patch (MAP)
A MAP [microarray patch] consists of an array of hundreds of drug-loaded micron-scale projections amassed on a baseplate that is applied to the skin like a bandage. Upon application, the MAP projections painlessly penetrate the top layer of skin delivering a depot of the drug.
